Saint-Gobain Maginot fortification

Fort Saint-Gobain is a fortified work of the Maginot line of the Alps, from the 1939-45 war. Its main mission was to block access to the Maurienne valley via the Col du Mont-Cenis road and the railroad line, upstream of Modane.
